Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Pale Papaya Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Pale Papaya Cardstock
- 3" x 4-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1" x 2-1/4" from Pale Papaya Cardstock
Insert the large Pale Papaya rectangle into the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the dry embossed Pale Papaya rectangle to the front of the Pale Papaya card.
Cut a 4" piece of the Gold 3/8" Fine Art Ribbon so it has a sharp angle on each end.
Lay the ribbon across the vertical card front so it is about 2-1/4" from the top. Use a small piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive across the center of the ribbon to hold it in place. Leave the protective backing in place for now.
As you are ready to stamp using the Art Gallery Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the large, more solid, single flower image from the Art Gallery Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Pale Papaya Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the vertical white rectangle as close to the top as possible.
Mount the stem and leaves image from the Art Gallery Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Soft Succulent Ink Pad. Stamp it on the vertical white rectangle so the stem appears to go into the bottom of the previously stamped flower image.
Pick out the stitched rectangle die from the Stitched Rectangles Dies that cuts out a stitched rectangle that is 2-5/8" x 4". Put it on top of the stamped flower on stem image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the image is centered in the die. Run through the machine.
Mount the large, less filled in, single flower image from the Art Gallery Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Pale Papaya Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of the previously stamped papaya flower on the rectangle cut out. Clean the stamp using the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and/or Simply Shammy, but leave it on the block.
Re-ink the large, less filled in, single flower image on Block D with the VersaMark Pad. Stamp it over the top of the previously stamped papaya flower on the rectangle cut out.
Mount the small, single flower petal image from the Art Gallery Set on Block A. Ink it up with the VersaMark Pad. Stamp it in the center of the previously stamped papaya flower on the rectangle cut out.
Open the Gilded Leafing Embellishment and pour at least some of it into a large container with a lid. Be careful, the leafing tends to go everywhere!
Lay the VersaMark stamped flower rectangle cut out on top of some Grid Paper in the center. Sprinkle on some Heat & Stick Powder so it covers the top of the flower. Tap off excess powder. Return the excess powder to the container to use again later.
BE READY TO WORK QUICKLY!
Heat the powder with the Heat Tool until it is completely melted (shiny, clear, and smooth).
Place the flower rectangle cut out with heated powder upside down into the Gilded Leafing Embellishment container and press down lightly.
Remove the flower cut out from the container and use the flat paintbrush or your fingers to brush off excess leafing embellishment. Return the leafing embellishment to the container to use again later.
Add Stampin' Seal to the back of the gilded, flower stamped rectangle cut out. Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape holding the ribbon on the front of the card. Adhere the rectangle cut out to the front of the card so it is centered side to side and the top of the rectangle is about 3/4" from the top of the card.
Mount a shorter sentiment of choice from the Art Gallery Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Soft Succulent Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the skinny Pale Papaya rectangle leaving room to cut it out.
Pick out the short, wavy edge, banner die from the Floral Gallery Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the sentiment is centered in the die. Run through the machine.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment cut out to the front of the card so it is centered over the bottom edge of the flower rectangle cut out.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up a medium gem from the sheet of Gilded Gems making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the base of the flower where it meets the stem.
