Start by cutting a basic white piece of cardstock at 8 1/2" X 11", and score at 4 1/4". Fold your card base and burnish the edge with a bone folder.
Take a piece of flowery DSP and cut it at 4" X 5 1/4". Adhere, centered, on the front of your card base.
Let's make some Bees!!! Take a piece of basic white DSP, and stamp 2 bee bodies using daffodill delight ink.
Take your black memento ink, and stamp your stripes and stinger. The best way to do this is to line up the stinger to the bottom of your bee and then stamp, your lines will fall perfectly into place.
Stamp a face on your bees. Now using the Bee Builder Punch, punch out your bees. Set aside.
Now we are going to do the wings. Take a piece of vellum and using Staz on Ink, stamp your wing outlines onto the vellum, and let dry. Then use the large heart of the Bee Builder punch to punch out the wings.
**Note when using Staz on with photopolymer stamps, the ink will stain your stamp. So if you don't want a black stain on your stamp, you can use the large heart on the bee builder punch to punch out wings.
Let's glue on the wings. Using multipurpose liquid glue, add a small dab to the bottom of the wing and add to your bee. Repeat 3 more times for each bee. Set aside to dry.
Now take the piece of white card stock and cut a 3" X 3" square. On the bottom right take your Granny Apple Green ink and stamp your flower stems. Now using petal pink ink and pool party ink stamp your flower tops.
There are 2 ways to do the antennas. 1 way is to stamp them on a scrap of basic white and fussy cut them out and glue them on your bee. I chose to position my bees where I wanted them on the basic white square, and then stamp my antennas onto the white square.
Now take your sweet sorbet ink and stamp some hearts on your basic white square around where your bees will be. Adhere square centered on the front of the card base.
No using stampin' dimensionals add your bees.
Now using the stylish shapes dies, cut a small banner and stamp your sentiment.
Now finish by completing the inside of your card with a piece of sweet sorbet cut 4" X 5 1/4" adhere centered. Then cut basic white to 3 3/4" X5" and adhere centered to the sweet sorbet.
