Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Polished Pink Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-3/8" x 5-1/4" from Magenta Madness Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 5-1/4" of lines of small four petal flowers design in Polished Pink from 2021-2023 In Color 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Assortment
- 2" x 2-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
- 2 pieces each 1-3/4" square from Basic White Cardstock
Adhere the strip of Polished Pink Designer Series Paper to the center of the Magenta Madness strip.
Pick out the indented corners rectangle die from the Tasteful Labels Dies. Put it on top of the small white rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the matted strip of designer paper across the horizontal, large white rectangle about 1" from the top. WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the rectangle label cut out on the matted strip so it is centered top to bottom and is about 7/8" from the left edge.
As you are ready to stamp using the Dressed To Impress Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "Life is short, buy the shoes" sentiment from the Dressed To Impress Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Polished Pink Ink Pad. Stamp it on the white rectangle just below the matted designer paper strip and just to the right of the label cut out.
When happy with the stamped sentiment, adhere the matted designer series paper strip in place.
Use the side of the brush tip of the Dark Polished Pink Stampin' Blends to outline the edges of the label cut out.
Adhere the label cut out in place.
Mount the high heel shoe image from the Dressed To Impress Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Magenta Madness Ink Pad. Stamp it once on each of the Whisper White squares. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time.
Pick out the high heel shoe die from the All Dressed Up Dies. One at a time, put it on top of a stamped shoe image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the image is centered. Run through the tool. Repeat with the other shoe image.
Make sure you have some paper (Grid Paper works great) at your work space.to protect the work surface. The Stampin' Blends Markers will bleed through the cardstock that you are coloring so you need to protect your work surface.
Place the shoe cut outs on the work paper and color with the Stampin' Blends Markers. The markers have a brush tip for coloring in larger areas and a fine tip for coloring in smaller areas.
Use the Dark Polished Pink Stampin' Blends to color in the heels and inserts inside the shoes.
Use the Light Polished Pink Stampin' Blends to color in the rest of the shoes.
Use Stampin' Seal to adhere one colored shoe cut out to the front of the card so it overlaps the right edge of the label cut out a tiny bit and is centered top to bottom.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the other colored shoe cut out to the front of the card so it slightly overlaps the first shoe cut out on the left side and slightly below. The back of the shoe should overlap the left edge of the label cut out a tiny bit.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up large Polished Pink jewels from a sheet of 2021-2023 In Color Jewels making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the center of the four petal flowers in a line across the designer paper strip.
