T his card was created by pulling out some of the colors in the Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper. I chose to use Highland Heather. (Purple is one of my favorite colors) whenever I am in doubt what to use on a card I always look through my embossing folders they always make a statement when being used. Project Recipe
Cut Base Cardstock to 4 1/4” X 11” then cut patterned paper to 4” X 5 1/4”.
Cut a strip of paper matching your card base (mine is Highland Heather) 1 1/2” X 5 1/2” . Run this strip through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine I used Ornate Flower 3D Embossing Folder. If you have any matching ribbon you can add a strip long ways to this strip. I like to add ribbon for a little more texture.
Adhere the strip cardstock to the patterned paper. Now adhere the patterned paper to card base. Now you will need to decide what type of sentiment you need. With the sentiment I used I used the Tasteful Labels Dies. I really like the shape of these dies. I stamped my sentiment in Highland Heather Classic Ink on Basic White Cardstock. You can add a little more pop on the card by using Stampin’ Dimensionals. This is a easy layout and can be using for any occasion. Thanks for spending some time with me!
