C ute tags to add to chocolate for a little gift using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- 1-1/2" x 3-1/4" from Real Red Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 3" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 1" x 2-3/4" from Early Espresso Cardstock
- 7/8" x 2-5/8" from Adhesive Sheets
As you are ready to stamp using the Nothing's Better Than Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "Today's Plan: Consume" sentiment from the Nothing's Better Than Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Real Red Ink Pad. Stamp it on the small strip of vanilla cardstock, leaving room to cut it out with the die.
Pick out the flat top tag die from the Tailor Made Tags Dies that cuts out a tag that is 7/8" wide. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment strip on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the sentiment is close to the top and right edges with the top of the tag on the left side. Run through the machine.
Pick out the flat top tag die from the Tailor Made Tags Dies that cuts out a tag that is 1-1.4" wide. Put it on top of the Real Red strip on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Adhere the vanilla sentiment tag cut out to the top of the red tag cut out at a slight angle so the holes in the tags line up.
Peel the protective backing off of the Adhesive Sheets rectangle. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets rectangle to one side of the Early Espresso strip. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Tip: Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick tool to help peel up the protective backing if needed.
Pick out the word "chocolate" die from the Love You More Than Dies. Put it on top of the Early Espresso rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the Early Espresso (dark brown) side is face up. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces. Leave the protective backing in place for now.
Carefully remove the protective backing from the "chocolate" word cut out. Adhere it to the bottom of the tags as shown.
Cut a piece of Real Red 3/8" Mini Ruffled Ribbon long enough to tie around the candy bar and tie one the tags with a knot.
Wrap the ribbon around the candy bar. Secure with a half knot. Slide one end of the ribbon through the hole in the tops of the tags and secure in place with a knot. Trim the ends of the ribbon.
