I really had fun making this card from this beautiful stamp set "On The Horizon" and the New Horizons DSP. I did a video to show you how I made it on my YouTube Channel called, Craft With Barbara Drake.
Project Recipe
Using the Blackberry Bliss cardstock cut to 8.5" X 5.5" and score at 4.25" (This will be your A2 size card base)
Cut a piece of Old Olive cardstock to approx 4.5" x 6" and use the die from the Ornate Layers to cut out that layer. It will measure 4" x 5.25" when die cut out. Adhere this to the card base.
Cut a piece of Blackberry Bliss 3.25" x 4.75".
Cut a piece of cardstock from the New Horizons 6 x 6 designer series paper 3" x 4.50". Stamp the trees from the On The Horizon stamp set on this layer using Evening Evergreen. Stamp the birds in Memento black ink. Adhere this layer to the Blackberry Bliss layer. Use foam adhesive on the back of this layer to the old olive layer.
Use the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set and stamp on Basic White cardstock using Memento Black ink. Using a sponge dauber, use Blackberry Bliss ink to go around the edge of the sentiment.
Fussy cut out the sentiment as shown in my YouTube video. Use Stampin Dimensionals on the back of sentiment and adhere to card.
For inside - cut a piece Basic White 4 x 5.25". Stamp the grass from the On The Horizon stamp set in Old Olive on the bottom. Adhere to the inside of card using Multipurpose Glue or Stampin' Seal.
