Cut a piece of the polka dot paper from the Sweet Soiree' Specialty designer series paper the exact size of the card front 2.5 x 4.5
Attach to the Narrow card front using Snail adhesive.
For the stamping portion of this card I used the Stamparatus stamp positioning tool that will be available in the 2018-19 annual catalog.
Cut a piece of Whisper White card stock 2 x 4
Place on the grid plate of the Stamparatus and place magnets to hold it in place.
Use the "Happy" stamp and place it face down on the card stock as close to the top as you can.
close the clear plate over it to attach it to the clear plate. (TIP: I put a little bit of removable adhesive on the back of the stamp so that it will be sure to stay stuck to the clear plate and not move or fall off. It is easy to remove the tape from both the stamp and the clear plate when done. I do this because I am going to ink with Versamark ink eventually and it is stickier and has a tendency to pull the stamp up when inking.)
Once the stamp is attached to the clear plate open it up and ink the stamp with Marina Mist. (NOTE: I used the re-inker and inked a small Stampin' Spot to use for this. I have found that the smaller ink spots work best for inking the stamps when using the Stamparatus.)
Once the stamp is inked close the clear plate and press the stamp down. Open to make sure it inked well , if not you can re-ink and stamp again.
Clean the stamp with a baby wipe, do not remoe yet
Ink a Stampin' Spot with Versamark ink and use this ink spot to ink the stamp with Versamark
Rub Embossing Buddy over the stamped image
Close the clear plate to ink the image with Versamark
Open, remove card, cover with clear embossing powder and set with the heat tool
Remove the large "Happy" stamp
Place the card stock back onto the Stamparatus
I used the "Happy Birthday" sentiment but I did a little something. I trimmed away as much of the border around the sentiment as I could and I also cut off the tail that came down from the "h" in the center. I didn't like it and it didn't work for what I wanted to do.
Place the sentiment stamp face down on the card where you want it to be. Again I placed a bit of removable tape on the back of the stamp to ensure it stayed in place.
Ink with the Marina Mist and stamp

Rub the embossing buddy over
Ink with Versamark
