Counting Sheep Amazing Starry Sheep |
P layful congratulations card using Stampin' Up! products including some that can be earned for FREE during Sale-A-Bration 2021.
Cut cardstock, designer paper, and Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Daffodil Delight Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" of cloudy blue design from Beauty Of The Earth 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut so the clouds are horizontal on the vertical rectangle
- 2-1/2" x 3-3/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 3/4" x 3-3/4" from Daffodil Delight Cardstock
- 1" x 2" from Granny Apple Green Cardstock
- 7/8" x 1-7/8" from Adhesive Sheets
Adhere the piece of Beauty Of The Earth Designer Paper to the front of the Daffodil Delight card.
Unlock the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch. Slide one short edge of the thin Daffodil Delight strip into the left side of the punch (the side of the punch with the more rounded end) as far as it will go and get it centered. Punch.
Mount the "You're Amazing!" sentiment from the Counting Sheep Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Granny Apple Green Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the punched yellow strip as close as possible to the punched end with the punched end on the left side.
Adhere the punched and stamped sentiment strip to the front of the card so the bottom edge is about 1" from the bottom of the card and the left, punched edge is about 3/8" from the left side of the card.
Mount the dancing sheep image from the Counting Sheet Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the vertical white rectangle slightly closer to the bottom edge. Leave room to cut it out.
Pick out the stitched, scalloped rectangle die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies that cuts out a scalloped rectangle that is 2" x 3-1/4". Put it on top of the stamped sheep image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the sheep is centered side to side and is about 1/2" from the bottom edge. Run through the machine.
Place the sheep rectangle cut out on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface. You need to make sure that you protect your work surface with paper as the Stampin' Blends do bleed through.
Use the Light Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends to color in the sheep's hooves
Mount the grass image from the Counting Sheep Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Granny Apple Green Ink Pad. Stamp it a few times across the bottom of the sheep rectangle cut out just under the sheep's hooves. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time.
Adhere the stamped and colored sheep rectangle cut out to the front of the card so it overlaps the right side of the sentiment banner and the bottom is about 1/2" from the bottom of the card and the right edge is about 1/4" from the right edge of the card.
Peel the protective backing off of the Adhesive Sheets rectangle. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets rectangle to one side of the Granny Apple Green rectangle. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Pick out the balloon die from the Sheep Dies. Put it on top of the Granny Apple Green rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the Granny Apple Green side is facing up. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tip on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces if needed. Make sure the protective backing for the Adhesive Sheet stays in place for now.
Carefully remove the protective backing from the back of the Granny Apple Green balloon cut out and adhere it to the front of the card so the bottom of the string connects with the sheep's upraised hoof. The top of the balloon will go over the top edge of the rectangle cut out.
Use the putty tip of the Take Your Pick to pick out three Daffodil Delight stars and two Granny Apple Green circles from the Shaker Shapes. Adhere the shapes as shown to the front of the card using small dots of Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen.
