Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Granny Apple Green Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Coastal Cabana Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-1/4" square from Basic White Cardstock
- 1" x 4-1/2" of tightly packed green x's design from Dandy Designs 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 1" x 3-1/4" from Granny Apple Green Cardstock
Put the large white rectangle vertically on top of some Grid Paper to protect your work surface.
Rub a Blending Brush across the open Coastal Cabana Ink Pad to get it inky. Lightly rub the inky Blending Brush across the bottom right corner of the vertical, large, white rectangle. Get more ink on the Blending Brush as needed. Let some of the ink go off the bottom and right edges of the cardstock.
Pick out the second largest Stitched With Whimsy Die. Put it on top of the blended white rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered on the rectangle. Run through the machine.
Note: This die doesn't really cut anything out. Instead, it will add stitching texture to the cardstock.
Adhere the blended and stitched white rectangle to the center of the Coastal Cabana rectangle and then to the front of the Granny Apple Green card.
Unlock the Country Bouquet Punch. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the strip of Dandy Designs Designer Paper into the opened punch and get one end of the strip centered in the small heart punching area. Punch. Slide the designer paper over and punch again 3 more times until you have 4 small patterned paper hearts. Leave the punch unlocked.
Hold the unlocked Country Bouquet Punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the strip of Granny Apple Green cardstock into the opened punch and get long edge of the strip centered along the right long side of the large heart punching area. Punch. Slide the strip of Granny Apple Green over a tiny, tiny amount and punch again to form a thin, slightly curved piece of cardstock you will use as the stem of the shamrock.
WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the stem punch out and four patterned paper heart punch outs on the front of the card in the lower right corner to figure out spacing and placement so they form a four-leaf clover/shamrock. When happy with the arrangement, adhere the thin stem punch out in place using Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen. Then, one at a time adhere the heart punch outs in place.
Mount the "good luck" sentiment from the Sending Support Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Granny Apple Green Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the small white square.
Pick out the small, stitched circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies that cuts out a circle that is 7/8" in diameter. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the sentiment. Run through the machine.
Use a Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the sentiment circle cut out to the front of the card so it covers the bottom end of the stem as shown.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 large gold sequin from the sheet of Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins making sure you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the front of the card so it is in the center of the four-leaf clover/shamrock.
