Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Pretty Peacock Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" of brown leaf sprigs on blue green background cut from various rectangles design of Fresh As A Daisy 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 2-5/8" x 4-1/4" from Moody Mauve Cardstock
- 3-1/2" x 5" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 2" x 2-1/2" from Pretty Peacock Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 2-3/4" from Pretty Peacock Cardstock
Adhere the piece of Fresh As A Daisy Designer Paper to the front of the Pretty Peacock card.
Pick out the die from the Countryside Corners Dies that cuts out a label that is 2-3/8" x 3-7/8". Put it on top of the Moody Mauve rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Adhere the Moody Mauve label cut out to the front of the card so it is centered top to bottom and about 3/8" from the right side.
Pick out the outline jug die from the So Refreshing Dies. Put it on top of the 2" x 2-1/2" Pretty Peacock rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Insert the jug cut out into the splatters embossing folder from the Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folders. Place the folder with the cut out inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Press the dry embossed jug cut out to the surface of the open VersaMark Ink Pad to get some ink on it.
Lay the jug cut out with VersaMark Ink on it in the center of the Powder Pal included in the Embossing Additions Tool Kit. Sprinkle on some gold powder from the Metallics Stampin' Emboss Powders so it covers the entire image. Tap off excess powder. Return the excess powder to the container to use again later.
Heat the powder with the Heat Tool on the highest setting until it is completely melted (shiny and smooth).
Tip: Use the Crafting Tweezers included in the Embossing Additions Tool Kit to hold the cut out while you are heating it so you don't burn your fingers.
Adhere the heat embossed, dry embossed jug cut out to the front of the card so it is centered side to side on the Moody Mauve label cut out and the bottom of the jug is even with the bottom of the label cut out. Do NOT put adhesive near the top of the jug cut out so that you can slide the flower stems under it in a later step.
As you are ready to stamp using the So Refreshing Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of Grid Paper on top of the Mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the stem image from the So Refreshing Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it three times on the horizontal vanilla strip leaving room to cut the image out. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time.
Pick out the matching open stem die from the So Refreshing Dies. Put it on top of the vanilla strip on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over one of the stem images. Run through the machine. Repeat with the other two stem images.
Mount the solid, bunch of lilies image from the So Refreshing Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Petal Pink Ink Pad. Stamp it on the top of one of the stem cut outs filling in the spaces at the top. Re-ink the stamp and repeat with another stem cut out. Clean the stamp using the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and//or Simply Shammy, but leave the stamp on the block..
Re-ink the solid, bunch of lilies image on Block C with the Moody Mauve Ink Pad. Stamp once on Grid Paper. WITHOUT RE-INKING, stamp it on the top of the remaining stem cut out filling in the spaces at the top. Clean the stamp using the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and//or Simply Shammy and put it away.
Mount the outline, bunch of lilies image from the So Refreshing Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Moody Mauve Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of one of the previously stamped solid flowers at the top of a stem cut out. Repeat with the other stem cut outs remembering to re-ink the stamp each time.
One at a time, adhere the flower stem cut outs to the front of the card as shown so the bottom of the stems are tucked under the top of the jug cut out and the stems overlap each other and the top of the jug a bit.
Rub the Embossing Buddy included in the Embossing Additions Tool Kit all over the 1-1/4" x 2-3/4" Pretty Peacock strip.
Mount the "heartfelt sympathy" or "thank you for everything" sentiment from the Seaside Bay Set on Block C. Ink it up with the VersaMark Pad. Stamp it in the center of the 1-1/4" x 2-3/4" Pretty Peacock strip.
Lay the VersaMark stamped strip in the center of the Powder Pal included in the Embossing Additions Tool Kit.
Tip: Use the Crafting Tweezers included in the Embossing Additions Tool Kit to hold the cardstock while you are heating it so you don't burn your fingers.
Pick out the smallest rectangle die from the Countryside Corners Dies. Put it on top of the heat embossed sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the sentiment is centered in the die. Run through the machine.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment rectangle cut out to the front of the card as shown so it overlaps the left side of the jug and the bottom of the cut out is even with the corner on the bottom left side and the left edge is about 3/8" from the left side of the card.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Gold & Vanilla 3/8" Satin Edged Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card as shown so it is centered over the bottom right corner of the sentiment label cut out.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 small and 2 large butterflies from the sheet of Brushed Brass Butterflies making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the front of the card as shown.
