Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Mango Melody Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Calypso Coral Cardstock
- 2" x 5" of peaches and leaves on blue background design from You're A Peach 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut so the peaches are vertical on the vertical strip
- 2 pieces each 7/8" x 5" of pink stripes on white background design from You're A Peach 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut so the stripes are horizontal on the vertical strips
- 2" square from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 1-1/2" from Pear Pizzazz Cardstock
- 1" x 2-3/4" from Mango Melody Cardstock
- scrap of Mango Melody Cardstock
WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the strips of designer paper on the vertical Calypso Coral rectangle to figure out spacing. Then, adhere the pieces in place one at a time. There should be a thin border of Calypso Coral showing on the top, bottom, left, and right edges.
Adhere the Calypso Coral/designer paper strips rectangle to the front of the Mango Melody card.
Unlock the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch. Slide one short edge of the Mango Melody strip into the right side of the punch (the side of the punch with the flatter top) as far as it will go and get it centered. Punch.
As you are ready to stamp using the Sweet As A Peach Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "sweet as a peach" or "have a peachy day" sentiment from the Sweet As A Peach Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Calypso Coral Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the punched Mango Melody strip towards the right edge with the punched end of the strip on the right side.
Adhere the stamped, punched sentiment strip to the front of the card so the punched end is about 1/2" from the right edge of the card and the bottom is about 1-1/8" from the bottom of the card.
Mount the single, large, peach image from the Sweet As A Peach Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Mango Melody Ink Pad. BEFORE stamping, rub a Blending Brush across the open Calypso Coral Ink Pad to get it inky. Lightly tap/rub the inky Blending Brush on the left side of the inked up peach image. Get more ink on the Blending Brush as needed. Breathe on the stamp to moisten the ink. Stamp the peach image in the center of the white square.
Pick out the matching peach die from the Peach Dies. Put it on top of the stamped image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the image is centered in the die. Run through the machine.
Mount the set of two leaves and stem image from the Sweet As A Peach Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Pear Pizzazz Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Pear Pizzazz rectangle.
Pick out the matching two leaves with stem die from the Peach Dies. Put it on top of the stamped image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the image is centered in the die. Run through the machine.
Use a Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the leaves and stem cut out to the peach cut out so the stem is tucked behind the center top of the peach and the leaves overlap the top left side of the peach.
Add more Stampin' Dimensionals to the back of the peach/stem and leaves cut out and adhere it to the front of the card so it overlaps the left end of the sentiment punched strip and the tips of the leaves almost touch the left edge of the designer paper on the left side of the card front.
Pick out one of the sets of three tiny flowers dies from the Peach Dies. Put it on top of the scrap of Mango Melody Cardstock on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces if needed,
Use tiny little dots of Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the small flower cut outs in a rough triangle in the upper right corner of the front of the card as shown.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 3 tiny rhinestones from a sheet of Rhinestone Basic Jewels making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the centers of the tiny Mango Melody flowers.
