S imple, fun packaging for wrapped candies using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a cutting and scoring tool:
- 1-3/4" x 2-1/2" from Whisper White Cardstock
- scrap of tiny hearts, stars, moons, and dots on Calypso Coral background design from Follow Your Art Designer Series Paper
As you are ready to stamp using the Tags Tags Tags Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Place a piece of paper (Grid Paper works great) on top of the Mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the set of three Halloween tags image from the Tags Tags Tags Set on Block I. Ink up the "It's All About the Candy!" tag with the Bermuda Bay Ink Pad. Stamp it on the white rectangle.
Pick out the set of 3 tags die from the Trio of Tags Dies. Put it on top of the stamped tag on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so the tag with the three little holes cut in each end is centered over the tag. Run through the tool. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces if needed.
Pick out the small set of 2 hearts die from the Trio of Tags Dies. Put it on top of the scrap of Follow Your Art Designer Series Paper on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so the large, single heart will be cut out of the paper. Run through the tool. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces if needed.
Use SNAIL Adhesive to adhere the small designer paper heart cut out to the center of the bottom of the tag.
Cut the top half off of a quart-sized Ziplock bag using scissors. Put three pieces of wrapped candy into the bag in a line across the bottom. Roll the bag up around the candies and secure the bag closed with a strip of washi tape.
Cut two 3-1/2" pieces of Grapefruit Grove twine from the Nature's Twine.
Tie the pieces of twine around the gathered ends of the bag using simple knots. Be sure to slide the tag onto the twine on one end before completing the knot.
Trim the ends of the twine pieces and fray them.
