H ello and welcome to my blog; today I have a super cute project to share with you using Apple Harvest Stamp Set & the Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper. The Apple Harvest Stamp Set is in the July - December Mini Catalog and can be found on page 54 while the Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper can be found on page 86 & 87 of the same catalog. This was a super quick project and I know that you are going to love it. Here’s a look at today’s featured project and in this blog post I will give you some tips & tricks on how to recreate it as well.
Project Recipe
Cut Basic White Thick Cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" score and fold in half at 5 1/2".
Cut four strips of Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper. Cut DSP at 1" x 4 3/4", 1" x 4 1/2", 1" x 3 3/4", 1" x 3 1/2"
Stamp apple from Apple Harvest Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink. Stamp again onto a piece of Stampin' Up! Masking Paper. Cut out the apple and leaves from the masking paper.
Add the mask over the apple and color the leaves with Granny Apple Green Ink and a Blending Brush.
Remove the mask over the apple and replace with a mask over the leaves. Color the apple with Poppy Parade Ink and a Blending Brush.
Cut a 2" circle from Basic White Cardstock and emboss with the Leaf Fall 3d Embossing Folder. Attach to a 2 1/4" circle cut from Granny Apple Green Cardstock.
Fussy Cut apple out with Paper Snips and add to the layered circles with a Stampin' Dimensional. Attach the circle to the the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Stamp sentiment in Tuxedo Black Ink onto the card base. Add a few highlights with a white gel pen to finish off the card.
