Cardstock: Balmy Blue, Mango Melody, Rain or Shine DSP
Ink: Old Olive
Other: Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Playing in the Rain Dies, Scoring Tool, Paper Trimmer, Bone Folder. Loose Daisy Embellishments, Dimensionals, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Glue Dots
1. The Base of the card is Balmy Blue cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 7-1/4” and scored at 1-1/2” and 3” on the long side with the Simple Scored Scoring Tool.
2. The second layer is Mango Melody cardstock cut at 4-1/4” x 7-1/4” and scored at 1-1/2” and 3”. Then cut with the Paper Trimmer into 3 strips at 1-1/2” wide each. Burnish the scored lines with the Bone Folder.
3. Cut the DSP at 1-1/4” x 4” three times using a pattern for the flowers and the sky. Cut six DSP cut at 1-1/4” x 1-1/4” to continue the pattern using Multipurpose Liquid Glue to attach to the squares.
4. Attach the three sections to the card by placing the top section by lining it up flush with the top/side of the card and same for the bottom section. The middle section can be eye-balled or measure for distance. Three sections should have a mountain, and then a valley so that when it stands up, you can see a triple panel Z fold card.
5. Cut a Mango Melody cardstock at 2-3/4” x 3-3/4” and cut the DSP sky at 2-1/2” x 3-1/2” and layer to the Mango Melody. Cut the grass DSP at 2-1/2” x 1-1/4” and add to the bottom of the sky with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
6. Ink up the “Happy Day” sentiment with Old Olive ink and stamp it to the upper left in the clouds.
7. Die-cut the turtle from the DSP and the Playing in the Rain Dies. Add with Dimensionals. Add some Loose Daisy Embellishments with Glue Dots to the grass below the turtle.
8. Adhere the layers to the card with Dimensionals being careful to only adhere them to the strips on the card.
9. On the back of the card, adhere a 4” x 5-1/4” Basic White cardstock and ink up the flowers stamp with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and stamp it. Color in the flowers.
