E aster Candy treat cups featuring 'Fable Friends' stamp set and 'Catch Of The Day' Dies.
Project Recipe
Stamp your little bunny on Whisper White card stock using Memento Black ink. Color with Stampin Blends. You'll have to fussy cut this cutie out with your snips.
If you want him to have a back side use your Silicone mat to stamp the image and press your card stock onto the image. That way you'll have the mirror image.
I used a scrap piece of card stock to add a little stand to the bottom of his feet by sandwiching it between his front and back. Score the scrap before gluing it in place and then just bend it to make him stand upright.
Cut a 2 1/2" circle from Granny Apple Green card stock for the base. If you feel you need more stability cut two and glue them together. I only used one.
Glue the bunny by his stand to your circle and add your greenery. I cut different colors of green card stock for the greenery in my garden using the Catch of The Day dies, scoring them 1/4" from the bottom of the cut die to use as my base to make them stand as well. I also cut the cattails off for this project.
I used sawdust mixed with glue & Early Espresso Ink for the garden soil. Mix your ink into a small amount of sawdust if you have some and add glue. I understand coffee grounds will work just as well. Sprinkle the mixture around your garden and cover all the flaps that make your bunny and greenery stand up. When it dries it will stay put.
After assembling your garden use dimensionals on the top of your sweet cup top to attach the decorated scene.
I cut a strip of Balmy Blue card stock 11 1/2' X 1/2' and lightly curled it with my bone folder to go around the edge of my cup top.
The garden sign was stamped with a sentiment from the Fable Friends set onto a Stitched Label die with a small scrap of Crumb Cake serving as a post. Score the post at the bottom and glue to the top just like the greenery and bunny.
The last piece of the garden is the fence cut from the Halloween Scene die set. (retired) Having dimensionals under your circle gives you a very easy space to glue the fence around. If you don't have a fence die you could easily use floral moss or trim to cover the edge of your scene.
I covered the cup with our Balmy Blue Gingham Gala DSP cut with a template from a fellow demonstrator. Patty Bennett has supplied the template on her website just search Sweet Cups Template https://www.pattystamps.com
